It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Keene of Baldwin, Florida, born in Lake City, Florida, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Keene and Eunice Beal Keene; and his sisters, Mary Louise Eddy, Sarah Davis Pittman and Gwendolyn Bunn.

He is survived by: his wife Gwyndle Keene of Baldwin, FL; his sister Marlene Joyner of Jacksonville, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Mosley, Jeff Eddy, Daryl Davis, Michael Joyner, Richard Bunn, Diane Bullard, Lori Fish, Tonda Robertson, Stephanie Bunn and Kimberly Browning.
