He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix L. Rutland and Alice Lucille Fox Rutland. He is survived by: his significant other Marian Elizabeth Darsey Rutland; his children, Cindy Smolder (Buddy), Billy Rutland (Tina), Joey Rutland (late Melody) and Debby Moore; his grandchildren, Michael Hatcher, Angie Williams (John), Ashley Moore, Stephen Rutland, Raney Thomas (Ben) and Brittany Azari (Austin); his great grandchildren, Marcus, Austin Hatcher, Valerie Williams, Jackson Maryon, Tucker, Ava Thomas and Olivia Azari; his brother-in-law Dave Darsey; and his pets, Baby and Martha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his loyal little companions.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Warren Funeral Services of Baldwin (105 US-90, Baldwin, FL 32234). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Brandy Branch Cemetery (1906 Brandy Branch Church Pl, Bryceville, FL 32009).
