It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Carr of Baldwin, Florida, born in Chauncey, Georgia, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herman Joe Brown Pruett and Florilla Kelley-Pruett; her husband Lewis T. "Buddy" Carr; her sons, Ronald L. Carr, James L. Carr, Timothy H. Carr and Thomas B. Carr (Michael F. Carr); and her sister Carolyn Pruett-Lane. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren.

Because of the ongoing pandemic, the funeral will be limited to family members only.
