She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus H. Canaday and Nova Canaday (Burnsed); her spouse Elmus "Bud" Davis Sr.; her brothers, Seaf Rhoden, Tony Canaday and Claude Canaday; and her children, Scott Davis and Rita Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Sanders (Eddy) of Sanderson, Lisa Alexander (Ben) of Brunswick, Richard Davis of Sanderson, Elmus Davis Jr. (Carolyn) of Sanderson and Jerry Davis of Sanderson; her daughter-in-law Lori Davis; her siblings, J. N. Canaday (Linda) of Baxter, Jackie Harvey (Vernon) of Sanderson, Donelle Munson of Macclenny, Lucille Prescott of Baxter and Reatha Mae Burnsed (Woodrow) of Baxter; and her brother-in-law Preston Davis (Miriam) of Sanderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and close friends.
