He was predeceased by: his parents, James Irvin Richards and Bessie Richards; and his siblings, Jimmy Richards and Deloris Hart (Richards). He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Richards; his sons, Roy "Andy" Richards Jr. and James "Scott" Richards; his daughter-in-law Ginger Richards; his sisters, Joyce Cosson, Betty Joan Melvin and Linda Richards; his grandchildren, Jeremy Helms, Johnathan Robinson (Danielle Robinson), Keisha Richards Norville (Ron Norville), Kimber Richards, Drew Richards and Razor Richards; and his great grandchildren, Haylie Robinson, Ashlyn Robinson, Malachi Eaves, Ayden Brigman, Aaron Eaves, Annlee Richards, Zoe Richards, Shelby Norville, Daisy Norville, Michael Frank Richards and Grayson Roy Richards. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other beloved friends and extended relatives.
