She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Williams, Sr. and Elizabeth Swiney Williams; her husband Bobby Mathis; and her siblings, Annie Lou Littles, Beulah Harrison, Eula Ansley, Liz Williams of Pauline Scott, R. L, Edna Newton and Idell Patrick.

She is survived by: her son Richard (Linda Williams); her grandson Daniel (Kim Williams Becky); and her great grandchild Ethan Williams.
