He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Mitchell and Doris Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Eric Mitchell (Angie) and Monica LaRoque (David); his grandchildren, Ethan, Erin, Matthew Mitchell, Alyssa, Daleah and Jacob LaRoque; his brother Earl; his brother-in-law Ernie Martin (Reba); his nieces and nephews, Taylor Meadows (Garrett) and Reid Martin; his aunt Ouida Broxson (Geech); and his friend Dewayne Walther. He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crestview Community of Christ Church (398 W 1st Ave, Crestview, FL 32536). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Beaver Creek Cemetery (6989 Beaver Creek Rd, Baker, FL 32531).
