He was predeceased by: his siblings, Glenn Dotson and Evelyn Roper. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Dotson; his children, Ted (Teresa Dotson) and Tracy (Tami Dotson); his stepchildren, David, Donna Ruffin, Tim, Nida Ruffin, Mark and Amy Gordin; and his siblings, Dale Dotson and Jollie Carver. He is also survived by ten Great grandchildren.
