He is survived by: his wife Velmaree Hobbs Joiner; his children, James Michael Joiner (Donna), Alan Edward Joiner (Lorraine) and Meri Len Lee (Barry); and his grandchildren, Jamie Scott (Jamey) of Kristin Dyal, P. J, Amy Gonzalez (Andis), Abby Nader (Travis Williams), Donnie Joiner (Lisa Marie), Craig Joiner, Varick Joiner (Ivana), Ami Batson (Coleman), Chase Klein (Corey) and Alyssa Lee. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
