He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Simon and Misty Green; his siblings, Emmanuel Simon, Howard Simon, Donald Simon, Ola Mae Swinton, Lula Mae Patrick and Dorothy Johnson; and his grandchildren, Roby, James Green, Chelsea, Shelby and Madison. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
