He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Juanita McNair and Henry Gilbert; his sister Betty Lou McNair; his wife Carolyn Pope McNair; his daughter Jenny Tutchtone; and his grandsons, Jeffrey Payne and Jack Henry Breland.
He is survived by: his children, Elva Simpson (David), Rhonda Breland (Greg) and Michael McNair (Darcy); the mother of his children Martha Knapp; his daughter Melissa Tutchtone; his grandchildren, Melissa Bass (James), Brandon Simpson (Mindy), Casey Jo Green (Josh), Sgt. Steven McNair and Amanda Patrick (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Emma Bass, Noah Bass, Nate Bass, Beckett Simpson, Blakeli Simpson, Jack Green, Jana McNair, Lainey Patrick and Nolan Patrick. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
