She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Cleo Askew and Emory William Askew, Sr.; her sisters, Alice Livingston (Ruth), Peggy Lee Askew and Mary "Jeanie" Singletary of Virginia; her nephew Eugene Caudell; and her great-nephew Rickey Caudell, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Gallop; her siblings, Janice Rosati, William Askew and James Askew; and her nieces and nephews, Bonnie McCory, Sheena Singletary, Gina Johnson, Lynn Holley, Wendy Holley, Gloria Krause, Debbie Ann Shaw, Lee Livingston, Allan Livingston, Wayne Caudell, Shawn Caudell, Christopher Askew and Jacob Askew.
