He is survived by: his wife Dawn Farmer; his children, Merissa Farmer of Babson Park, Diana Farmer (Tuff Hunt) of Babson Park, Alice Farmer (Richard Waltz) of Babson Park, Kristen Sopczak (Brandi Welch) of Lakeland, Walter Franklin Trimble (Joshua) of Lakeland, Larry Adams (Jen VanDorn) of Lakeland and Jason Sopczak of Babson Park; his father Walter "Papa" Farmer of Babson Park; and his siblings, Debbie Carter of Babson Park, Brenda McCullough of Babson Park, Frances Corona of Winter Haven and Jesse Farmer of Auburndale. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
