He was predeceased by: his father Richard Gibbs; his former wife Gloria Gibbs; and his children, Michael Gibbs, Stephen Gibbs and Carla Roop.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Dawn Gibbs; his sons, Bret Pierstorff (Cheryl) of Bowling Green and Bill Pierstorff (Jaime) of Lake Wales; his son-in-law Eric Roop of Frostproof; and his sister Judy Larson (Laurel) of Syvester, Georgia. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
