It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Baker Newton (Avon Park, Florida), born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on March 10, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Q. Newton and Kathryn Newton (Tim); his children, Michael, Savannah and Timmy; his siblings, John and Bobbi; his half-sisters, Marcia, Mary, Nancy and Dixie; his nephew Christopher (Tara); his son C. J.; his nephew Joseph (Casey); his daughter Sydney; his nieces, Colleen, Cathy (Bill) and Bobbie (George); his nephew Benny; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob, Eddie and Amber. He was also cherished by several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews from his half-sisters and brother.
The family requests that those in attendance wear masks.
