It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Joy Longshore (Avon Park, Florida), born in Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on March 12, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Simmons and Nola Simmons (Greer); her sister Shirley Britton; and her daughter Delberta Ann (Richard Longshore). She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Longshore; and her children, Ramona Severn (Randall), Loretta Wells (Scooter), Eric Longshore (Brenda) and Blake Longshore (Sharon). She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; and 15 Great Grandchildren.
