We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023, at the age of 93, Lamar Smith of Avon Park, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Peterson and Denise Schultz; his granddaughter Cassandra Johnson; and his wife Margaret Smith.
In lieu of flowers, Lamar would appreciate donations being made to his favorite animal rescue shelter, Halo.
