She is survived by: her children, Nilsa Meléndez Lebrón (James) of Avon Park, FL, Edwin Meléndez (Lourdes) of Spring Hill and Lester Meléndez of Anchorage, AK. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
