The memory of Gerald Nicholas Spierings of Avon Park, Florida, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spierings and Maria Spierings; his brother John; and his son Andrew. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Julie Spierings and Lisa Suarez; his granddaughters, Reina Suarez and Maya Williams; his great grandchild Andrew Hodge; his son-in-law Mark Michael; his grandson-in-law Jesse Hodge; and his siblings, Anthony Spierings and Wilhelmina Kapron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Bay Pines National Cemetery (10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33708). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Springwood II Clubhouse (10440 US Hwy 19 N, Pinellas Park, FL 33782).
