She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh D. Chancey and Shirley E. Furlong; her former husband Albert Hawkins; and her husband Aden Childress. She is survived by: her children, Alan Hawkins (Barbara), Stephen Hawkins (Aimee), Carol Ann Wilkinson and Sharon Sue Strickler; her siblings, Rev. Hugh Chancey (Yvonne), Mike Furlong (Bobbie), Rev. William Furlong (Betina), Robert Furlong (Melinda), Randy Chancey, Debra Shepherd (Bill) and Lora Haggard (Christopher); her grandson Christopher Hawkins (Madison); and her great grandchild Vivian.
