He was predeceased by: his son Edward Mitchell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, PJ Baldridge (Joe), Larry Mitchell (Lucinda) and Rhonda Mitchell (Kelly Waldron); and his siblings, Lucielle Gerbige and Tom Mitchell (Betty). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
