He was predeceased by: his parents, D. L. Jackson and Myrtlee Jackson (Jacobs); and his siblings, Mort Jackson (Joe Jackson) and Sheila Locke. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Jackson of Avon Park, FL; his sons, Dennis Jackson (Gloria) of Avon Park, FL, Larry Jackson (Tammy) of Avon Park, FL and David Jackson (Lorie) of Sebring, FL; his siblings, Ronnie Jackson (Amy) of Avon Park, FL, Billy Jackson of Avon Park, FL, Clark Jackson (Patty) of Avon Park, FL, Sara Nell Houpe of Lake Wales, FL and Dot Johnson of Bonifay, FL; and his grandchildren, Eired, Larry, Meghann, Erica, Densby and Justin. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Florida Avenue Baptist Church (710 W Bell St, Avon Park, FL 33825). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Bougainvillea Cemetery (591 US Hwy 27, Avon Park, FL 33825).
