He is survived by: his wife Jane Johns (Wallace); his children, Tammy Beckley (Clif) of Chickamauga Ga, Linda Johns and Richard Johns (Jody) of Winston-Salem, NC.; his grandchildren, Matthew Alfers, Ashley Jasper, Brianna Piniella, Richard Johns and Jeremy Johns; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Piniella, Ashley Johns and Richard Johns Jr..
