He was predeceased by: his mother Louise Durden (Amerson); his wife Ruth Enoch Durden; and his siblings, June Dickens, Beth Renew and Russell Durden.
He is survived by: his father Lee Henry Durden; his sister Sharon Townsend of Swainsboro, GA; his stepchildren, Renee L Lewis (Kevin) of St Johns, FL, Darlene Kreigh of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Ricky Viets (Shirley) of Avon Park, FL; and also Dale. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
