With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Dale Thompson of Avon Park, Florida, born in Bartow, Florida, who passed away on September 10, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alan Dale shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alan Dale farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Thompson and Jessie Thompson. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Lambert (Seth) of Avon Park; his grandchildren, Connor Lambert and Kendal Lambert; and his siblings, Cynthia Mulvihill (Tommy), Teresa Walter (Danny) and Alex Thompson (Margaret). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home and Crematory (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830).
