He was predeceased by: his parent Margaret Derr Crouse (Meakin); his former wife Virginia Derr (Gerber); and his stepdaughter Nancy LaVorgna. He is survived by: his parent Raymond Derr; his wife Ruth Derr (Shea); his daughters, Nancy Moriarty (Tim) of Coconut Creek, FL, Virginia Derr of Glastonbury and Deborah Cofiell (Brad) of Glastonbury; his stepchildren, Patricia Smith (Steve) of Colchester and Thomas Ryan of Glastonbury; his siblings, Monroe Derr of New Britain, Robert Crouse of Salem, SC, Doris Buntin of Southington and Peggy Ann Mongellow of Dandridge, TN; and his wife Virginia Gerber. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
