It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenore Toby-Simmons of Aventura, Florida, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Berkman and Albert Berkman; her siblings, Marvin Berkman (Jen) and Charlotte Fisher (Berkman); her husband Dr. Bernard Simmons; her children, Albert Simmons (Jennifer) and Jil Blatstein (Bart); and her grandchildren, Ryan, Jenna, Hailey, Courtney, Andrew and William. She was also cherished by 4 great-grandchildren.
She was an accomplished artist, creating a series of paintings during the pandemic she titled "Lockdown Lenore.".
