He was predeceased by: his son Fernando Giraldo. He is survived by: his wife Luz; his children, Hernando (Jeannette), Cathy (Rodrigo) and Vicky; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Kristina Giraldo, Daniel, Fiorella Funes, Hunter and Sophia Samuelson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
