He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Slewett and Nathan Slewett. He is survived by: his children, Karen Slewett and Philip Slewett; his sister-in-law Sheila Slewett (Robert Slewett); his nephew Gregory Slewett; and his niece Danielle Zimmerman (Slewett).

Donations can be made to Boys Town Jerusalem, National Parkinson Foundation or the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind.
