He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Elma Singleton, Sr. (Forehand); his wife Janet; and his sisters, Virginia and Euginia.

He is survived by: his sons, William Scott "Scotty" Singleton of Auburndale and Christopher Derek "Chris" Singleton (Gina) of Auburndale, Florida; his grandsons, Adam Lane and Jacob Scott; his stepgrandchildren, Marissa Loren and Justin Tyler; and his niece Donna Scott (Charlie) of Zolfo Springs, Florida..

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (406 Main St, Auburndale, FL 33823). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
