He was predeceased by: his parents, Paula Gaines and David Russell Bradley; his wife Barbara Bearden Bradley; his brother Kevin Clyde Bradley; his wife Janet Knowles Bradley; his daughter LaDonna Cook Brown of Pikeville, TN.; and his great grandchild Noah Kimbal Jackson.

He is survived by: his daughter Karen Bearden Lampp (Josh); his brother Keith Nelson Bradley (Sandy); and his children, Jennifer Michelle Knowles and Herbert Edward Knowles. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
