He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dykes and Ruby Dykes; his wife Shelby Jean Dykes; and his siblings, Bobbie Jean Carroll, Donald Dykes and David Dykes.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth DeLynn Dykes (LaNeda), Cathy Jean Livingston (Danny) and Timothy Duane Dykes (Pam); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Queen, Eric Dykes, Natalie Livingston, Brad Livingston, Cody Dykes, Cady Dykes, Tommy Huynh and Cindy Tregoning. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
