With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Opal Chesser of Auburndale, Florida, who passed away on March 22, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Franklin Chesser; her brothers, Alvin Walker and Leon Walker; her daughter-in-law Tamara Chesser; and her sister-in-law Joyce Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Rick Chesser of Auburndale, Florida and Linda McMullen (Lewis) of Branford, Florida; her brothers, Billy Walker (Sandra) of Polk City and Travis Walker of Lakeland, Florida; her grandchildren, Adam Zoble of Tampa, Leah Johnson (Shawn) of Starke and Holly Neeley (Donald) of Slidell, Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Madison, Liam and Kinsley; and her pets, Molly and Kate.
