He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ana Belen Arenas of Pardo and Carlos Eduardo Pardo Murcia; his spouse Mariela Perez of Pardo; and his children, German A. Pardo, Ana M. Kalman, William Pardo, Katie Pardo, Nicole Lorenz and Andrea Lorenz.

After retirement, he came to the U.S., he worked at the Salvation Army for 10 years receiving donation items.
