He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ferrara and Virginia Ferrara (Palmer); and his siblings, Louis II, Jennie Lu and Antoinette.

He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn; his son David II (Tammi) of Temperance, Michigan.; and his sister Luana Sullivan of Dallas, Texas.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
