He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack B. Waters and Elizabeth Waters (Johnson); his brothers, Thomas and Harley; and his grandson Joshua.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Waters of Auburndale, Florida; his daughters, Dawn Goers (Paul) of Sweetwater and Mary Waters Fizette (Bill) of Lakeland, Florida; his grandchildren, DeWayne (Jessica), Scotty (Ashley), Kenny (Victoria), Kayla (Bradley), Jeremy, Hunter and Marrian; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Bryton, Joshua, Penelope, Memphis, Hailey, Adam, Zachary and Charlee.
