He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Nathaniel and Mildred Lura Carpenter; and his son Kenneth David Shawler. He is survived by: his wife Mary Tilley; his children, Stephen Shawler (Marcia) and Patricia Flynn (John); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Flynn (Tyler), Will Flynn (Jordan), Michael Flynn (Maegan), Evan Shawler (Rachel) and Avery Shawler (Jacob).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunrise Community Church (298 Aquatic Dr, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the SETP Foundation (https://www.setp.org), a prestigious international society for all test pilots dedicated to advancing the future of aviation.
