He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Panter; his children, Susan Slavicz (Ed), David Bennett (Catherine) and Scott Bennett (Michelle); his niece Gale Wichmann; his grandchildren, Melissa Vecchiola (Rob), Michael Slavicz (Beth), Barbara Oglesby, Troy Bennett, Kathleen Bennett, Douglas Bennett (Katelyn) and Bryan Bennett (Molly); and his great grandchildren, Parker Vecchiola, Kenley Vecchiola, Grayson Vecchiola, Jude Oglesby and Luke Oglesby.

A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beaches Memorial Park (1500 Main St, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233).
