He is survived by: his parents, Lois Bowser of Moss Bluff and Glen McLaughlin of Myrtle; and his siblings, Kevin McLaughlin (Amantha) of Atlantic Beach and Kelli Stutson (Scott) of Ocala. He is also survived by five nephews and many relatives.
