He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Abrass (Mierzejewski); and his brother Norm Abrass. He is survived by: his father Joseph P. Abrass; his wife Linda Abbe Abrass; and his children, Steve Abrass (Suzette) and Jill Easton (Mac).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to K9s for Warriors in memory of Joe Abrass.
