He was predeceased by: his husband James Stewart, Sr.; and his parents, Henry Charles and Lucy Bell Sampson. He is survived by: his children, Olga Cue, Roosevelt Taylor, Jr., Seddrick Taylor (Sarolta), Enikea Taylor (Emile), James Stewart, Jr. and Constance Coleman (Oscar); his siblings, Deloris Jackson (James), Shirley McCray, Willie Sampson and Janett Sampson; and his grandchildren, Lawanda Peterson and Miracle Gennie Mae Bryant. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
