Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elizabeth Piersol Petway of Atlantic Beach, Florida, who passed away at the age of 83, on January 27, 2025. She was predeceased by: her daughter Amanda "Mandi" Leigh Petway. She is survived by: her husband Thomas F. Petway III; her children, Brette (Jeff) and Ty (Lindsey); her grandchildren, Avery, Ashton, Ellie of Hayden, TJ, Piper, Dabney and Molly; her sisters, Judy Piersol Weld of Birmingham and Lynne Piersol Splinter of Tryon; her sister-in-law Nancy Petway Falloon (Niall); and also Jacksonville. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church (4171 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A reception will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Petway family requests that donations be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Jacksonville Humane Society, or Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.
