She was predeceased by: her parents, James Warren Slack, Jr. and Dorothy Marie Ash Slack; and her sister Claudia Ann Slack Hilbert (Steve). She is survived by: her husband Anthony B. Eddins (Tony) of Jacksonville Beach, FL; her stepdaughter Karen Eddins of Holly Springs, NC; her siblings, James Warren Slack, III (late Barbara Dove) of Lexington, MA, Alice Marie Slack Collins (David) of Lakeland, FL and Robert Glenn Slack (Kathleen) of Pasadena, MD.; her aunts, Helen Emerson Slack of Phoenix, AZ and Marjorie Ash of Louisville, KY; and her nieces and nephews, Robert William Slack of Cambridge, MA, Erin Collins Rittling (Phil) of Pittsburgh, PA, Heather Slack Mielke (Gary) of Westminster, MD., Lothian Buss of Durango, CO, Jonathan Collins (Abby) of Orlando, Samuel, Susannah Collins, Brooke, Mackenzie and Harper Mielke. She is also survived by five great nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that a memorial donation be made in memory of Dorothy Joan Eddins to the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministery (BEAM).
