She was predeceased by: her parents, James Britt and Freida Britt; and her son Peter Andrew Bowan. She is survived by: her husband Paul Bowan; her sons, Jeff Bowan (Pam) and Jonathon Bowan (Penny); her grandchildren, Stephen Bowan (Chelsea) and Grace Bowan; and her great grandchildren, Henlee and Kollyns Rue.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
