He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ray and Eva Mae Simmons; his siblings, Robert Simmons (Brenda), Donald Simmons, Sandy Alonso (Al), Becky Hall (Tommy) and Rita York; and his nephew Steven Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Homeister Simmons of Astor, FL; and his brothers, Lenny Simmons (Carolyn) of Shepherdsville, KY, Gary Simmons (Toni) of Lexington, KY and Tony Simmons (Glenda) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
