She was predeceased by: her father John Atkins; and her brothers, Kenneth Atkins and Greg Van Overstraeten. She is survived by: her husband Sam; her children, Samantha, Kelsey (Evan Karl), Kara (Nathaniel Hunt), Molly (Brandon Macias) and Seve; her mother Janet Haley (Pat); and her siblings, Kara Clark, Dian Atkins (Millie Hernandez) and Jeanine Atkins.

Due to the current restrictions established by the state of Illinois, 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time and everyone must wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
