She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hadaway and Gladys Hadaway Cunningham; her husband T. W. Van Ness; her son Michael Witmer of Arcadia; and her brother Oliver Hadaway.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Parker (Mike) of Mechanicsville, MD and Richard Witmer (Jeanette) of Arcadia; her grandchildren, Denise Parker Berry (Kevin), Patricia Parker Williams (Jon), Crissy Parker Barisich (Martin), Jessica Burt (Doug) and Ryan Witmer; and her great grandchildren, Connor Parker, Parker Berry, Jaxon Burt and Ainsley Burt.
