He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vaughan and Bonnie Vaughan; and his siblings, Jackie Adcock and Gary Vaughan. He is survived by: his daughter Caroline Vaughan (Zac Karpinski); his granddaughter Harlow; his wife Sheila; his siblings, Debbie Vaughan-Drennan (Rick) and Larry Vaughan (Debbie); his sister-in-law Pamela D. Vaughan; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
