He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan F. Cardenas and Petrona L. Salazar; his wife Adelaida Rodriguez; his children, Adaimys Cardenas (Rigoberto) of Arcadia and Rausy Cardenas (Yanny); his grandchildren, Gilbert, Oscar, Naomi, Adacheli, Christian, Ryan, Angel and Rafael; and his great grandchildren, Mia, Alex and Emma.
