It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Harold Townsend of Arcadia, Florida, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Townsend and Quessie Townsend (Noble); and his sons, Winston Gregory Townsend and Matthew Earl Townsend. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Whitsel of Arcadia; and his sons, Mark Townsend (Tampa) and Philip [Rain] Townsend (Tampa). He is also survived by three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
